Large Appliance Delivery
Delivery Times
- After your order has been processed, you’ll be contacted within 2 working days by our logistics partner, Product Care Group, with access to their booking portal.
- Delivery is usually 2–5 working days for UK mainland, up to 10 working days for Scottish Highlands, and up to 14 working days for offshore locations.
- Please note delivery may take longer around bank holidays.
On Delivery
- Please check your order promptly to confirm it is correct and complete. You will be asked to sign for the delivery.
- If the packaging or product is visibly damaged, either refuse delivery or sign “with reservations.
Delivery Costs
- Large appliances: £20 per order.
- Optional removal & recycling (WEEE): £20 per item (must be pre-selected at checkout).
Large Appliance Installation
Installation Costs
- Freestanding appliances: £10 per product.
- Integrated appliances: £99 per product.
- Optional removal & recycling: £20 per product.
Refrigeration Installation
Freestanding Fridge/Freezer Installation
Delivery team will:
- Place in room of choice, level feet, remove packaging.
- Connect water dispenser (if available) to an existing cold-water supply.
- Refit doors on American-style units if removed for access.
- Remove old fridge/freezer if recycling was selected.
What you need to do:
- Ensure clear access.
- Unplug and empty old unit. Defrost if recycling.
- Leave new unit switched off for 4 hours after installation.
We don’t:
- Switch on new fridge/freezer.
- Make changes to property (doors, cabinetry, plumbing, electrics).
- Hardwire appliances.
Integrated Fridge/Freezer Installation
Delivery team will:
- Place, level, and fit cupboard doors to match existing hinges/splits.
- Remove packaging.
- Remove old unit if recycling selected.
What you need to do:
- Check split type (e.g. 50/50, 70/30) and hinge mechanism matches.
- Defrost and disconnect old unit.
We don’t:
- Switch on immediately (must stand for 4 hours).
- Modify cabinetry or doors. Only minor adjustments are made.
Laundry
Freestanding Washing Machines & Dryers
Delivery team will:
- Connect to existing water inlet, waste pipe, and socket.
- Remove transit bolts (installation only, not delivery).
- Run a test cycle.
- Remove old appliance if selected.
What you need to do:
- Drain and disconnect old appliance.
- Ensure water supply/waste pipes are within 1m of location.
We don’t:
- Install vented tumble dryers.
- Fix plumbing faults (e.g. seized taps).
Integrated Laundry
Delivery team will:
- Place, level, connect to water/waste.
- Fit cupboard door.
- Plug in and run a test cycle.
What you need to do:
- Check cupboard condition and fit before arrival.
We don’t:
- Make major changes to cupboards or plumbing.
Dishwashers
Freestanding Dishwashers
Delivery team will:
- Place, level, connect to water/waste.
- Plug in and run a test cycle.
- Remove old appliance if selected.
What you need to do:
- Disconnect old dishwasher.
- Ensure connections within 1m.
Integrated Dishwashers
Installation:
- Place, level, connect to water/waste.
- Fit cupboard door.
- Plug in and run a test cycle.
What you need to do:
- Check cupboards/hinges match before delivery.
Cooking Appliances
Freestanding Electric Cookers
Delivery team will:
- Disconnect old cooker (electric only).
- Install new cooker with correct cables.
- Safety check and test.
What you need to do:
- Ensure correct electric supply and clearance (65cm minimum).
We don’t:
- Disconnect gas cookers (Gas Safe engineer required beforehand).
- Complete remedial electrical work.
Electric Ovens & Hobs
Delivery team will:
- Disconnect old oven/hob.
- Install and safety check new appliance.
- Remove old if recycling selected.
What you need to do:
- Ensure correct electric supply and clearance.
We don’t:
- Disconnect gas appliances.
- Carry out remedial electrical work.
Recycling (All Appliances)
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations 2013
We offer our customer the chance to recycle their old appliances when purchasing a new item from us aligning with the WEEE Regulations 2013. By purchasing an EEE (Electrical and Electronic Equipment), the equivalent WEEE collection service (recycle option at checkout) can be requested at the time of purchase. The equivalent WEEE collection service (recycle option at checkout) takes place at the same time as the delivery of the new EEE.
Removal available for £20 if selected at checkout.
Appliances must be:
- Disconnected, empty, defrosted (if refrigeration), and safe to handle.
- Accessible from property entrance.
We don’t:
- Remove appliances that are not ready.
- Carry out electrical, plumbing, or property alterations.
