    How To Clean Kitchen

When you adopt the right approach how to clean a kitchen becomes less problematic and almost fun as you discover how quick the process can be

The kitchen is arguably the dirtiest room in the house. This isn’t because you don’t know how to clean kitchen. It is simply the room that is most exposed to dirt and food debris. There are plenty of hidden spots that can harbor this debris and encourage bacteria growth.

That’s why you need to spring clean your kitchen and discover how to easily clean the hidden corners.

    Preparing For Home Spring Cleaning

The secret when spring cleaning or deep cleaning your kitchen is to have the right tools ready before you start.

If you are wondering how to clean kitchen then start with getting the right tools together:

    • Clean cloths
    • Disinfectant spray
    • Scourer
    • Brush
    • Vacuum or Steam Cleaner

It is worth noting that the Hoover steam uprights deeply clean and sanitise your kitchen and beyond, without the need for chemicals. If you are undertaking home spring cleaning you'll find this an invaluable addition to your tool kit.

Start Spring Cleaning At The Top

If you are new to the principles behind how to clean kitchen then you need to know that the same principle applies as to your whole house. Start at the top and work your way down. That means wiping your ceiling with a damp mop, ideally one that has been dipped in warm water with disinfectant.

You can then move onto the high cupboards and shelves. Make sure you check for all the hidden cubbyholes and wipe them all down. As you come down the cooker hood will need examining and potentially cleaning.

    It is worth noting that many modern connected hoods and ovens have self-cleaning functions. You will want to check if yours does and what measures you need to take to ensure it continues to work properly;

    Do The Worst Items First

In most kitchens, the worst appliance is the oven. You should start with this as it will make the most mess. Doing it later means making a mess and cleaning it up twice. A neat trick to help you clean an oven is to spray all the inside walls, but not the heating elements with a mixture of water, white vinegar, and baking soda; Equal amounts of each will suffice.

Leave it for twelve hours and then wash the oven with soapy water, you will be surprised at how good it looks.

    Lemon Oil & Vinegar

These two ingredients make a great polish that can be used on all the wood surfaces in your kitchen and the rest of your house. Simply spray and polish off. It is amazing how effective this approach is.

    Vacuum Your Cupboards

When you are doing a deep clean you should empty your cupboards and vacuum them. This is the most effective way of removing all the debris from them. You can then wipe them out with a disinfectant spray and a clean cloth to ensure they look and feel like new.

The secret to successfully learning how to clean kitchen is in using a few tools and being prepared to be thorough. If done properly, spring cleaning, or deep cleaning, only needs to be done once a year. The rest of the time a quick clean will help to maintain the results and give you a kitchen you can be proud of.
